 f November\, AV Hill 1.006\, 11:00.\n \nIn recent decades\, complex chro
 nic inflammatory diseases have been rapidly increasing\, with allergic d
 iseases such as asthma\, reaching unprecedented prevalence. To a large e
 xtent this is attributed to “self-inflicted” dysregulation of external a
 nd internal microbial communities with which we have codeveloped. By sys
 tematically exploring and discovering patterns of microbial dysbiosis as
 sociated with different disease aspects\, we have achieved a better unde
 rstanding of pathophysiology and natural history\, as well as developing
  prognostic biomarkers. As a next step\, intervention studies aiming at 
 reinstating a eubiotic microbiome are been designed.\n \nBest wishes \n
