We are re-kindling links between Clinicians and fundamental researchers in Manchester, particularly those interested in rare conditions and disease-associated gene variants.
Thanks to the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre and the Manchester Rare Conditions Centre (MRCC) we have launched the MRCC academy to improve interactions between clinical and scientific staff, trainees and students at the Hospital and the University.
We hope to build a stronger community to enable joint funding bids and projects.
We would like to invite you to the first of our Seminar Series, a Rare Conditions themed launch and lunch event on Tuesday 31st January 2023 at the Undergraduate Building Lecture Theatre 1. Timings are as follows:
12-12.30pm – Lunch
12.30pm – 1.30pm –Seminar - Profs. Siddharth Banka and Bill Newman – Intro to MRCC and future Manchester rare conditions plans
