Please join the CPPI Research Cluster for Dr Ben Noble (University College London) presenting on "Consolidation or Constraint? A Theory of Legislative Closures and Openings in Authoritarian Regimes."
Ben's current research focuses on the law-making process during the legislative stage of policy-making in authoritarian regimes. His empirical work is centred on states of the former Soviet Union. He has other research interests, including the politics of criminal law policy-making in Russia, Russian regional politics, and budgeting dynamics in non-democratic states.
