 om around Greater Manchester the chance to prepare for university life t
 hrough the completion of an academic assignment\, as well as an extended
  period of time on campus during which they experience the teaching and 
 learning styles of undergraduate study.\n\nThe Manchester Access Program
 me (MAP) is a structured scheme for local post-16 students who meet spec
 ific academic and background criteria. The aim of the programme is to su
 pport entry to The University of Manchester\, or another research-intens
 ive university\, through the completion of a portfolio of work which dem
