DESCRIPTION:The Behaviour Change Meeting Group at The University of Manch
 ester has the purpose of bringing together academics and clinicians acro
 ss several institutes who are working with behaviour change\, interventi
 on development and/or implementation theory. We usually meet online on t
 he first Thursday of the month at 3pm\, inviting external speakers and i
 nternal speakers to discuss and gain feedback on their latest research i
 n the field. We have a range of health and clinical psychologists in the
  group as well as epidemiologists\, nurses and physiotherapists who work
  with a range of different short-term and long-term conditions in differ
 ent contexts (public\, patient and healthcare professional groups).\n\n\

 </b>.\n\nDr Lesley Lewis\, a Registered Health Psychologist\, leads the 
 Behavioural Science Unit in Somerset Council's Public Health Team. With 
 over a decade of experience in public health and behaviour change\, Lesl
 ey specialises in translating research into practice\, applying behaviou
 ral science theories and techniques across a range of public health init
