 th series” this year with the opportunity to hear from two national and 
 international authorities on Hate Crime\; Sylvia Lancaster OBE\, Chief E
 xecutive of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation and Paul Giannansi OBE\, Pol
 ice Superintendent\, Lead Cross Government Hate Crime Programme\, Minist
 ry of Justice. \n\nBoth speakers will share their views\, experience and
  knowledge about people who are murdered\, victimized\, bullied or threa
 tened simple because they are “perceived” to be different. \n\nThe focus
  for the evening will be on working in partnership with patients and fam
 ilies who have been victims of hate crime or abuse because they are vuln
 erable. There is evidence to suggest that doctors and other health care 
 professionals need to be better informed about the impact of violence on
  young people and should understand the consequences of poor care when a
