DESCRIPTION:Look at everyday life from a different perspective. Join us t
 o find out how sociologists from The University of Manchester do researc
 h on our everyday lives and try out one of our more unusual methods - sk
 etching! Together with Lynne Chapman\, urban sketcher\, you will learn s
 uper-quick creative techniques. Then it's your chance to put them into p
 ractice by sketching everyday objects brought from home or from the muse
 um collection.\n\nNo artistic experience necessary - all welcome! All ma
 terials provided. \n\nThis is a drop-in session and you don't need to re
 gister. \n\nIf you would like to hear more about our research and try a 
 bit more sketching\, have a look at our two 'Sketching the everyday' wor
