DESCRIPTION:Due to the current Coronavirus situation our face to face CPD
  session  has been converted into online webinar. \n\nIntended Learning 
 Objectives:\n\n•         Define health and the underlying principles beh
 ind inequalities in health\n•         Explain and critically discuss the
  principle methods and theoretical approaches to the promotion of health
  and prevention of ill health.\n•         Apply their learning about the
 ories and methods of health promotion\, programme planning and evaluatio
 n to childhood obesity\n\n\nDuring this interactive workshop participant
 s will use the example of childhood obesity to explore the theory and me
 thods for health promotion\, taking into consideration the wider determi
 nants of health and link to health inequalities. Participants will work 
 together to plan and critically appraise health promotion strategies to 
 reduce childhood obesity rates. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
