DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Biology\, Medicine and Health (FBMH) warmly in
 vites you to attend our third service learning conference. This in-perso
 n event is free and we encourage all service learning practitioners\, st
 udents and community partners to attend.\n\nThis year’s theme is 'Empowe
 ring Futures: Service Learning in Schools':\n\nJoin us to explore the cr
 ucial role service learning plays in schools\, learn how to effectively 
 apply it in educational settings\, and discuss the importance of sustain
 ing these transformative programmes.\n\nThis initiative not only empower
 s University students from various disciplines to address real-world cha
 llenges but also ensures that social responsibility remains a core value
  in our world-class teaching and learning.\n\nIt will be hosted by Dr Ra
 chel Lindley and Prof Raj Ariyaratnam\, FBMH Co- Academic Leads for serv
 ice learning.\n\nThe day will consist of key note speakers\, workshops a
 nd lightning talks with plenty of opportunity to network with fellow con
 ference attendees.
