This workshop aims to develop cross-disciplinary partnerships, collaborations and opportunities for Digital Scholarship.
The workshop will provide an informal space to share current Digital Humanities practice and discuss ideas for new projects. The Library's Imaging Team will showcase a range of Advanced Imaging techniques available to researchers working with Special Collections and will be available to discuss and share ideas for new approaches.
Come along if you are new to Digital Humanities, but want to find out more, or have an idea but would like support with an application to the John Rylands Research Institute's Digital Humanities start-up grant scheme. These grants offer up to £5,000
to support Digital Humanities projects that make use of the Special Collections of the University of Manchester Library. Applications may be made by individuals or groups wishing to undertake research during the 2019-20 academic year. The scheme is aimed both at those already working in this field as well as those new to Digital Humanities.
