The electrification of the UK is fundamental to the government’s 2050 Net Zero targets. This is a radical change that will impact us all, technically, economically, and culturally. To enable this, the UK government is poised to inject approximately £1 trillion in public/private investment (BEIS, Net Zero Strategy: Build Back Greener, Oct 2021).

On behalf of Prof. Aline Miller and Prof. Javier García Oliva, we would like to invite you to our Electrification FSE - FoH joint workshop. The workshop aims to explore the key challenges, opportunities, and capabilities around electrification through cross departmental and cross faculty collaboration as well as industry engagement. This will enable us to bid for research and industrial funding.
