DESCRIPTION:Superplasticity has been widely used in manufacturing complex
  shaped titanium sheets for the aerospace and automotive applications. \
 n\nDuring the superplastic forming process\, where the temperature is ty
 pically above 0.7 of the melting temperature of the alloy and strain rat
 e is extremely slow\, \nmany mechanisms\, such as dislocation generation
  and recovery\, phase transformation\, grain refinement and growth and g
 rain boundary sliding\, are involved. \n\nThis talk will reveal the key 
 microstructure evolution at the superplastic forming condition captured 
 by EBSD and embed the obtained fundamental understanding\,\ninto a unifi
 ed physically-based constitutive processing modelling\, to simulate the 
 superplastic forming process\n
