DESCRIPTION:The Northwest Biotech Initiative would like to invite current
  graduate students from all disciplines to participate in our upcoming N
 orthern Biotech Consulting Case Competition supported by The Manchester 
 Enterprise Centre.  \n\nPlease note: the team application deadline has b
 een extended to this Friday\, 27th May.\n \nThe nature of this competiti
 on hopes to bring together students and professionals from a range of mu
 ltidisciplinary backgrounds to focus on consulting and biotechnology. Ac
 ting as consulting firms\, teams will present a recommendation to our ex
 pert judges on which start-up a large biotech company should acquire to 
 increase its portfolio. Teams will  be  presented  with  profiles  of  s
 everal  companies  containing  information  regarding  intellectual prop
 erty\,  product portfolio  and  clinical  trial  data a month in advance
  of the competition.  The  teams  are  then  asked  to  make  a  recomme
 ndation  regarding  a deal  between  the  client  and  the  potential ca
 se  companies on the day of the competition.  The winning  team  will  b
 e  awarded  a £1000 cash prize sponsored by Adelphi.\n \nTeam Applicatio
