DESCRIPTION:Join artist Kajal Sharma\, a legendary artist of Delhi Televi
 sion\, for a captivating performance of the popular traditional ‘Peacock
  Dance’.\n\nFind out more about the importance of the peacock in Kathak 
 and learn some of the intricate dance techniques in this interactive per
 formance workshop led by Guru Kajal Sharma and our South Asia Gallery Co
 llective member Poonam Kakkar.\n\nFree\, for families with children aged
  7+\, with accompanying parents/carers\n\nSuitable for beginners. Spaces
  are limited\, booking required.\n\nThis is part of a weekend of events 
 to celebrate the next stage of hello future\, the museum’s ambitious tra
 nsformation project. The museum’s doors will temporarily close its doors
  to the public from 29 August until late 2022\, so construction work can
  take place.\n\n\n
