and in the study of extensions of vertex operator algebras. A construct
ion of A. Davydov provides a way to associate to any algebra in a tenso
r category its full center\, which is a commutative algebra in the cente
r of the original tensor category.\nIn this talk\, we discuss a generali
zation of the full center construction suitable to produce braided commu
tative algebras in the category of modules over quantized enveloping alg
ebras. This construction uses an understanding of such module categorie
