DESCRIPTION:Pupils are invited to find out about animal research at The U
 niversity of Manchester as part of a special open day. We invite 45 A-le
 vel students (maximum 5 pupils per school) to show why in certain situat
 ions\, where alternatives are not available\, animal research is used by
  researchers. Pupils take part in lectures\, lab work and ethical debate
