 is day is aimed at aspiring undergraduate students who are interested in
  the subject area\, but who may not yet know exactly which course to cho
 ose. The event is specifically pitched at Year 12 students or students i
 n Year 13 who have yet to make their UCAS application.\n\nAre you intere
 sted in art? Would you like to know more about how to study visual cultu
 re and how artworks are exhibited and cared for in galleries? Our Insigh
 t Day will introduce you to the study of Art History at university and g
 ive you a chance to cast a behind-the-scenes look at the award-winning W
 hitworth Art Gallery. The day includes a taster lecture which will show 
 you techniques on how to “read” a work of art\, a chance to meet Art His
 tory undergraduate students and a tour and activity at the art gallery.
