How Brits Feel and Think about China, and why: Preliminary Survey Findings
How does the British public feel about the Chinese government and its people? What China policies would they prefer? And what are the primary drivers of their views? I present some preliminary answers to these questions based on a nationally representative survey implemented by YouGov in April-May 2014. Brits feel coolly towards China, but warmer than the French and British publics do. Other findings and policy implications will also be discussed.
