DESCRIPTION:WE WILL RESUME THE SEMINAR SERIES ON 16th SEPTEMBER 2019 WITH
  A SPECIAL SEMINAR:\n\nSpecial Divisional Teaching event for ALL staff a
 nd postgrads in Division Musculoskeletal & Dermatological Sciences. \nWe
  are inviting all staff\, whether or not you currently do any teaching\,
  to this specially convened event. PhD students\, particularly those in 
 their final year are also welcome.  \n\nThis event is an opportunity to 
 meet with and ask questions of the leads from a range of teaching progra
 mmes which many of us are involved in\, both Undergraduate and Postgradu
 ate\, including UG Medicine\, BSc programmes\, PG taught Masters program
 mes etc.  \nYou can find out about a range of teaching opportunities\, i
 ncluding tutorials\, one-off teaching or facilitating\, projects or diss
 ertation supervision\, interviewing\, assessments.  It is also a chance 
 to meet Programme Leads and ask them questions in person. \nThe session 
 is only an hour and we have asked the programme leads to give a very bri
 ef outlines of the types of teaching opportunities they have. If you hav
 e specific things that you would like them to cover\, please email Lis.C
 ordingley@manchester.ac.uk in advance and she will pass this onto collea
 gue. \n\nSuggestions already received include:  \n\n•             How to
  write popular project/dissertation titles and outlines\n•             W
 hat support/training is available for those new to teaching?\n•         
     Who is allowed to teach what?\n•             Where are teaching oppo
 rtunities advertised?\n\nPlease feel free to ask anything about teaching
  at this event\, or contact the relevant member of staff directly after 
 the event.\n
