DESCRIPTION:Research data management encompasses all stages of handling d
 ata created during a research project\, either primary or secondary. It 
 is not only about adhering to principles but also about enhancing the ef
 ficiency\, impact\, and integrity of research.\n\nEffective data managem
 ent ensures that data are Findable\, Accessible\, Interoperable and Reus
 able (FAIR principles). The foundation of sensible data management lies 
 in understanding and applying best practices across the data lifecycle f
 rom planning to sharing\, while adhering to ethical standards and legal 
 requirements.\n\nDuring this free 90-minute online workshop\, we will ex
 plore the key components of effective research data management\, includi
 ng data management planning\, organising\, and documenting data\, ensuri
 ng data quality\, storing and backing up data\, as well as strategies fo
 r data preservation and sharing. The workshop will also cover practical 
 tools and techniques for data management\, such as metadata standards fo
 r documenting data\, data quality semi-automated freeware\, and best pra
 ctices for data sharing and archiving.\n\nThe workshop will conclude wit
