residue of the Dedekind zeta-function\n\nAbstract: In analytic number t
heory\, we can study the distribution of prime ideals in a number field
through the lens of the Dedekind zeta-function. Indeed\, knowledge about
the invariants of the Dedekind zeta-function will enhance our understan
ding about the distribution of prime ideals and one of the most importan
t invariants is the residue of its solitary\, simple pole at s=1. In thi
s talk\, we explore unconditional and conditional explicit bounds for th
is residue\, and I will describe my contributions to this area (which is
