DESCRIPTION:To mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS\, Dr Stephanie Snow\,
  Project Director ‘NHS at 70: The Story of Our Lives’\, will be giving a
  special lecture exploring the social history of the NHS. \n\nThe lectur
 e will take place on the 24th April 6-8pm in Lecture Theatre B\, Univers
 ity Place.  There will be a drinks reception from 6pm with the lecture t
 aking place 7-8pm.\n\nDrawing on NHS archives and interviews with the pe
 ople who were involved in its establishment\, Stephanie will reveal how 
 she is creating the first shared social history of the NHS\, shining lig
 ht on many other subjects\, such as migration\, politics and communicati
