Pharmacology and Physiology examine two exciting areas of the Life Sciences. How do molecules, cells, organs and systems work together to allow our bodies to function and, when this function goes wrong in disease, how do the drugs we take interact with these components of our bodies? Pharmacology and Physiology, as well as being degree courses in their own right, also form part of other degrees including Anatomical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences. On this Discover Day you will learn about cutting-edge research in this area and participate in hands-on workshops to learn about topics including diabetes and clot-busting drugs.
