Atelier Series 2014: 'Development'
The fifth Manchester Postcolonial Atelier offers the opportunity for the research community to enter into conversation with Professor Neil Lazarus (English and Comparative Literary Studies, University of Warwick). Professor Lazarus will be discussing the book currently in press that he and colleagues in the Warwick Research Collective (WReC) have co-written. The book, entitled Combined and Uneven Development: Towards a New Theory of World-Literature, will come out early next year with Liverpool University Press. Professor Lazarus will also be sharing from his own latest project, entitled 'Into Our Labours: Work and Literary Form in World-Literature'.
The Postcolonial Atelier series complements the Manchester Postcolonial Reading Group's broad theme 'Development' (2014) and provides a focused, friendly and constructive setting in which researchers can engage with the atelier guest's intellectual output.
