Thinking About Teaching? PGCE Open Evening
Are you thinking about a career in teaching? Come along to The University of Manchester’s open evening to find out about our PGCEs (Postgraduate Certificates of Education) – ten month courses that enable graduates to train to teach and gain Qualified Teacher Status.
You will be able to speak to course tutors for our primary PGCEs and subject specialists for our secondary PGCEs, including:

• Mathematics
• Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Physics with Mathematics)
• Modern languages (French, German and Spanish)
• Business Education
• Economics with Business Education
• School Direct
Our admissions staff will also be on hand to answer questions on entry requirements, professional skills tests and subject enhancement courses, and to provide information on the bursaries and scholarships available.
As well as the attractive bursaries and scholarships available to trainee teachers, we are offering a tuition fee discount of £1,000 for those that graduated from the University with a first class honours degree within the last three years.
