 p to the mailing list.\n\nAbstract: Cell theory\, one of the fundamental
  theories unifying all of biology\, states that all cells come from alre
 ady existing cells\, thus making cell division key to homeostasis. Model
 ling this unifying biological first principle allowed us to examine the 
 complex case of Prostate to Bone Metastasis and its interplay with the b
 one microenvironment. By modelling the heterogeneity of the disease in t
 erms of changes in cell division\, using samples from Mayo Clinic to gen
 erate basic biological data\, we were able to capture the response of th
 e disease to the standard of care in Moffitt Cancer Centre patients. Fur
 thermore\, by utilising differences in cell division under treatment con
 ditions we were able to quantify and forecast the emergence of resistant
  disease. With this\, we aim to discuss the importance of computational 
 modelling\, its caveats and limitations\, and how to take advantage of t
 his to fill gaps in our basic understanding of the disease and improve c
