DESCRIPTION:Some sections of Weinberg's 17th and last Quartet are derived
  from his own 4th Solo Cello Sonata. Between these two pieces\, the Dane
 ls present a new work by French composer\, and Weinberg enthusiast\, Flo
 rent Gauthier. \n\nFollowed at 2.30pm by a Composition Masterclass with 
 the Quatuor Danel. \n\nThe Thursday lunchtime concerts are part of the W
 alter Carroll Lunchtime Concert Series\, which is supported by the Ida C
 arroll Trust. They provide a wide-ranging programme to suit all tastes a
 nd are an ideal opportunity to enjoy great music performed by outstandin
 g musicians. There’s no need to book – the concerts are free\, and you c
