About the event:
The Centre for Biostatistics holds half-day seminars in March and October with three external guest speakers. This seminar is a joint event with the Royal Statistical Society Medical Section. The event is free and all are welcome to attend.

- 15:00-15:40: "Assessing the predictive value of new risk markers in CVD using individual participant data from multiple studies", Dr Angela Wood (University of Cambridge)
- 15:40-16:00: Tea/coffee and refreshments
- 16:00-16:50: "Dynamic prediction for event history (and other) data", Professor Robin Henderson (University of Newcastle)
