Shape your world: Science and engineering at Manchester
Attend one or more of our three online sessions from 13-17 January, and find out how a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science will help you to make your mark.
When you’re looking to apply to university, it is normal to feel overwhelmed with the question of what you want to study, and how to know if your degree will prepare you to succeed in a world that is looking to find sustainable alternatives to living and working in the twenty first century.
We’ve asked three of our academics, at the forefront of their discipline, to talk about how they are addressing one of the big challenges of today, how best to create a sustainable world for future generations in a way that leaves no-one behind.
As well as explaining how they are making their mark, they will also explain how you can be equipped to tackle these challenges with a degree at Manchester, and how a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science will prepare you to succeed in your future career.
