Title: Fusion products and perverse coherent sheaves
Abstract: Cyclic modules over loop algebras possess an interesting monoidal structure called the fusion product. Defined by Feigin-Loktev in the late 90s, it has been studied extensively since, although many of its features remain conjectural. An important part of the theory is the appearance of the Q-system, which give recursion formulas for characters of Kirilov-Reshetikin modules under fusion. In this talk, I will present how the geometry of the affine Grassmannian provides new hindsights into the Q-system, following the ground-breaking work of Cautis-Williams.
