Manchester Museum is hosting its first annual Iftar in collaboration with the University of Manchester Muslim Chaplain.
In the spirit of the month of Ramadan, the month of hospitality and sharing, come along to an evening of food, friendship and dialogue across faiths and cultures. Observe or participate in the Muslim prayer and taste traditional food with the breaking of fast.
All faiths welcome.
6-8:30pm see objects related to Islamic art and heritage from Manchester Museum, The Whitworth and Manchester Art Gallery
8:30-10:30pm What is Ramadan? (Mohammed Ullah, The University of Manchester Muslim Chaplain)
