DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a 'Show and Tell' by researchers affiliate
 d with the 'Empire and After' EACW research cluster\, showcasing new and
  developing work.\n\nThe event will take place on 4 March at 2pm\, in Un
 iversity Place 2.217.\n\nAbout the research cluster\n\nEmpire and After 
 (lead: Dr Howard Booth) – ‘Empire and After’ is a research group in Engl
 ish\, American Studies and Creative Writing (EACW) that addresses coloni
 al and postcolonial writing and film\; approaches to the field are also 
 discussed and evaluated\, including postcolonial studies\, world systems
  theory and the various uses of the word ‘decolonisation’. Members of th
 e group collaborate nationally and internationally\, and organise resear
 ch events\, in addition to supervising many doctoral students. Affiliate
 d members include Prof Liam Harte\, Dr Robert Spencer\, Dr Sundhya Walte
 r and Dr Kelechi Anucha.
