The exploration of friendships and relationships using a novel, interdisciplinary research method that can extend and disseminate research across disciplines and beyond academia
A twilight screening of two documentary films, with live music and Q and A, showcasing the contribution of ethnographic filmmaking to our understanding of friendship and intimacy
The 90-minute event will feature screenings of;
(i) Partners (32m), Dr Andrew Stevenson, MMU Department of Psychology (assisted by D. Ines Ponte)
(ii) Tender Kisses are Hard to Find (20m), Dr Ines Ponte (University of Manchester Centre for Visual Anthropology)
The venue will be open before the event from 5pm.
