Abstract:
The development of professionalism is a key component in the training of healthcare professionals. The importance of professionalism is highlighted in several documents produced by governing bodies and educational associations. This presentation will provide a brief overview of the professionalism literature to date and present the protocol for this Doctoral study. This study aims to explore the perceptions of key stakeholders regarding professionalism and how it is demonstrated within an academic dental environment.
