DESCRIPTION:The session will start with an interactive discussion of what
  the main types of observational studies are and how they are designed.\
 n\nWe will identify the main sources of bias affecting each type of obse
 rvational study and how they can be minimised.\n\nParticipants will lear
 n how to understand the main statistical results of case-control and coh
 ort studies- including Odds Ratio\, Risk Ratio and their confidence inte
 rvals.\n\nParticipants will use the appropriate CASP tool to critically 
 appraise a study in small groups and feedback their assessment.
