DESCRIPTION:This is a monthly meeting of the Additive Manufacturing Innov
 ation Club. \n\nThis is a drop in chat session.\n\nThe purpose of Additi
 ve Manufacturing club activity is to allow UoM researchers to:\n\n- Pres
 ent their research and discuss sticking points that the community may be
  able to help them with\n- Find new collaboration partners from across t
 he University\n- Ask questions within the community so that members can 
 share experience/ideas to save time\n- Share ideas on funding calls that
  are relevant to the community\n- Share equipment (if free) and resource
 s\n- Discuss technology/methodology advances and provide advice on what 
 to/not to buy\n- Advertise talks that may be of interest to the communit
 y & widen participation across campus.\n\nClub Lead: Dr Wajira Mirihanag
 e\n\nThe Innovation Clubs align closely with Digital Futures' capabiliti
 es themes and are targeted particularly at early career researchers. The
  Innovation Clubs help to build communities of practice around key digit
 al research technologies and provide a forum for researchers to share th
 eir knowledge\, experience and practical skills in these areas.\n\nThis 
 activity is also part of wider IT club activity Computation and Data in 
 research (CaDiR).\n\n\nTo join the meetings\, please sign up via the Inn

  and will also join a dedicated Microsoft Teams space to network with ot
 her members.\n
