It's no secret that lots of people think social media is the reason young people are increasingly suffering from poor mental health, but what is the evidence really telling us? Join the #So.Me team in this interactive session to find out.
We'll begin by encouraging participants to reflect on their own social media use and experiences, before exploring the research and evidence around young people's social media and mental health. The second half of the session will feature round table discussions on the challenges and solutions around social media.
This 1 hour session is for parents, teachers, and other professionals working with young people. It is being run as part of the FoSS Activity Trail at Salford Museum.
