Please join the Democracy and Elections Research Cluster for a seminar with Dr Carol Galais from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Dr Galais' research interests revolve around two major research strands: public opinion and local participation, primarily investigating the psychological factors that lead to participation. Dr Galais has conducted research on political interest, internal efficacy and the duty to vote. Currently, Carol's research interests include the links between Internet use and political participation, the political socialization process and any political attitude that makes an individual more prone to participate in politics.
