DESCRIPTION:For the first time\, the UK’s largest High Voltage Laboratory
  will be opening its doors and running demonstrations for staff from acr
 oss the University.  The laboratory has recently been in the media as pa
 rt of YouTube blogger Tom Scott’s video channel. This is a great opportu
 nity to meet and engage with the researchers within the high voltage lab
 oratory\, or simply to witness the true capabilities of the equipment in
  person with demos including a lightning bolt of over a million volts an
 d more.\n\nAccess to the open day is via Eventbrite.  There are morning 
 and afternoon slots available and each session will run for 30 minutes.
