DESCRIPTION:HCRI is hosting a Careers Afternoon for all UoM students\, wi
 th advice from HR professionals and HCRI alumni from MSF\, MAG and more.

 \nThis event is to help students think about different paths in the huma
 nitarian\, disaster and emergency response sectors\, taking on insights 
 from recent HCRI alumni and HR professionals in the humanitarian sector.
 \n\nPANEL 1: ALUMNI and PEER LEARNING\n\nWe'll be joined by HCRI alumni 
 and current staff/students\, sharing their experiences of getting into t
 heir sectors and answering any questions you may have.\n\nSpeakers are:\
 n\n- Hannah Cameron-Ross\, Emergency Planning Officer at Highland Counci
 l\, and recent HCRI alumni\n- Ahmed Ibrahim\, who has served as both a P
 roject Coordinator and Pharamacist for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in
  Lebanon\, Haiti\, South Sudan\, and more.\n- Dr Ümit Seven\, Postdoc Re
 searcher at HCRI\, with previous roles at UN World Food Programme and NA
 TO.\n\nPANEL 2: THE VIEW FROM HR: ADVICE ON JOB APPLICATIONS AND CAREER 
 ROUTES\n\nWe'll be joined by Human Resources professionals from internat
 ional humanitarian NGOs\, to give pointers and advice on applying for jo
