DESCRIPTION:The global pandemic and consequent lockdowns have had a signi
 ficant impact on the mental health of children and young people\, with e
 xperts warning of ‘the worst ever’ child mental health crisis. Young peo
 ple already faced serious challenges to their wellbeing prior to the pan
 demic but this is likely to have worsened during the COVID-19 pandemic.\
 n \nJoin Policy@Manchester and the Education Policy Institute for this f
 ree online event at 3.30pm on 22 June which will bring together policyma
 kers and school leaders to explore how we can support a whole school app
 roach to children and young people's wellbeing.\n\nProfessor Neil Humphr
 ey from the University of Manchester will join a panel to discuss the ne
 w #BeeWell project\, which will assess young people's mental health over
  several years.\n\nHe will be joined by Evelyn Forde MBE\, Headteacher\,
  Copthall School and TES Headteacher of the Year\, with further speakers
