 veloping countries. He is the author of Capitalism’s Achilles Heel: Dirt
 y Money and How to Renew the Free-Market System\, published by John Wile
 y & Sons and cited by the Financial Times as one of the “best business b
 ooks of 2005.”\n\nHe has for many years been an internationally respecte
 d authority on corruption\, money laundering\, growth\, and foreign poli
 cy issues\, particularly as they concern developing economies and impact
  western economic and foreign interests. He has written and spoken exten
 sively\, testified often before Senate and House committees\, been quote
 d worldwide\, and has commented frequently on television and radio in th
 e United States\, Europe\, Latin America\, Africa\, and Asia on legislat
 ive matters and policy questions\, including appearances on Nightline\, 
 CNN\, BBC\, NPR\, Four Corners\, and GloboNews\, among others. Mr. Baker
  is a member of the High Level Panel on Illicit Financial Flows from Afr
 ica\, created by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and c
 haired by H.E. Thabo Mbeki\, former President of South Africa. He is als
 o on the board of directors of the Center of Concern in Washington\, D.C
