  \n\nThe session will be aimed primarily at researchers who are consider
 ing an application for grant funding to conduct a stand-alone evidence s
 ynthesis project. Speakers will give the perspective of Board members an
 d applicants for the NIHR Health Services and Delivery Research (HS&DR) 
 and the NIHR Health Technology Assessment (HTA) programmes. Similarities
  and differences in the expectations of these programmes will be discuss
 ed. \n\nHealth researchers from across the North West are welcome to att
 end this free event. \n\nLunch will be available. Please note: booking i
 s essential for catering purposes.  \n\nThe programme will conclude with
  a brief presentation on how the Research Design Service NW can help\, a
 nd at the close of the seminar there will be an optional ‘Ask the Advise
 r’ session – an opportunity for researchers who would like to discuss in
 dividual research proposals with RDS NW advisers.\n
