Theodore Voronov joins us for the Geometry, Topology and Mathematicals Physics Seminar.
The classical Pluecker map takes the Grassmann manifold to the projectivization of the space of multivectors. It gives an embedding of the Grassmann manifold as a projective algebraic variety and the image is described by quadric equations known as Pluecker relations. Among other things, the Pluecker relations serve as a prototypal example for the definition of cluster algebras --- the notion that has been attracting great attention in recent years. At the same time, an analog for super Grassmannians of the Pluecker map has been unknown (and even expected not to exist) till very recently. In the talk, I will speak about such an analog.
