The Northwest Biotech Initiative would like to invite you to the Breaking into STEM event organized by the society to celebrate the diversity and inclusion in STEM. The event will consist of a panel discussion with a host of professionals from consulting, biotech, and more! We hope to celebrate the strides made in these fields by all professionals, particularly by those from lesser represented communities.
If you are looking to transition away from academia as a postgrad, or even secure your first job from undergrad, this event is for you! Speak and network with our guests in-person, pick their brains and get the insights you need to stand out!
Celebrate the wonderful professional journeys of all the invited speakers and understand what they look for in a candidate applying for a position. Gain tips and tricks on how to best tailor your resume and get the support you need when applying for a position, particularly if you are from an under-represented group.
