11am-4pm. In 2009, as part of the arts and ecology project extInked, 100 drawings of endangered British species were tattooed onto willing volunteers to turn them into ambassadors for that species. Meet some of these ambassadors and find out about the work they’ve been doing; Create your own (temporary) tattoo; See and hold some of the Museum’s rare species and take part in art and craft.
11am-4pm: extInked activities
Find out about the work of leading conservation organisations and ways you can help wildlife; meet and touch some endangered species from the Museum’s collections; and meet some of the tattooed ambassadors and talk to them about their experiences.

Get involved with a variety of creative activites for all ages.
11am-4pm: Create your own animal ears & explore our bag of beasts.
11am-1pm & 2-4pm: Become a mini ambassador and get your own temporary tattoo of an extInked endangered species.

2-3pm: Bugs & Insects Family Friendly Film Screening
A series of short films all about Bugs & Insects. Films include Roberto & the Insect Architect, Shaun the Sheep and Buzz off Bees
