Join us at the Library to delve deeper into the stories behind our ‘We Have Always Been Here’ exhibition, we are offering a free collections encounter; a chance to view unseen material from our collections. Drop into the beautiful Historic Reading Room to see objects relating to LGBTQ+ voices within our collection, including letters sent to famous French spy, the Chevalier d'Éon, during the French Revolution; lyric books from The Buzzcocks frontman Pete Shelley; and photographs of the first female pageant master, Gwen Lally.
