Lord Blunkett has served the public for over 40 years in roles including Secretary of State for Education and Employment and Home Secretary. In more recent years, alongside his work in the Lords, he has been appointed Professor of Politics in Practice at the University of Sheffield and Chair of the board of the University of Law and undertakes work on behalf of a number of charities. David is regular commentator and writer and we are delighted that he has agreed to talk as part of the Manchester Urban Institute's programme of launch events.
