This session shows how many research questions can be represented using a simple equation-based description. Describing research in the form of equations is advantageous as these not only explicitly define the model, but also identify an appropriate technique and the format of the data.
The equations illustrate the similarities between the analyses and highlight the common underlying system of analysis used in this course.
