The 8th Annual Workshop on Advances in X-ray Imaging is a collaboration between The University of Manchester at Harwell, 3Dmagination Ltd and the Collaborative Computational Project in Tomographic Imaging (CCPi) with the aim of bringing together scientists from different fields to discuss developments and applications of a variety of X-Ray imaging and complementary techniques, and to build international collaborations. The topic of this year’s conference will focus on correlative imaging techniques (coupling X-rays, neutrons, diffraction, electron microscopy), 4D in situ imaging (X-ray tomography), Big Data/Machine learning and quantification of data (advanced image processing, in situ strain mapping, modelling).
The workshop will be opened by Professor Jayne Lawrence, Director, The University of Manchester at Harwell, followed by presentations from national and international speakers, presenting a variety of complementary imaging techniques.
Attendees are invited to bring a poster to be displayed throughout the workshop which will be judged by the scientific organising committee and prizes awarded to the three best posters.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT ONLY. This event will not be recorded and there will be no capacity to join online.
